This model was developed on the basis of the 19 ” model very popular with 20 ” pilots and tested by several high level 26 ” pilots including Vincent Hermance !
Their volume allows a significant rebound, the design of the studs and their spaced position on the tread allow better grip on wet ground. The soft rubber that makes up the crampons also provides increased grip.
Work has been done on the crampons which have been perforated to remove any superfluous material. In addition, the outer studs are larger on the rear tire than on the front tire for more grip and the sidewalls of the front tire have been lightened to reduce overall weight.
