These models were developed on the basis of the 19 ” model very popular with 20 ” pilots and by several high level pilots including Dani Comas and Abel Mustieles.
With its large volume, this tire will give you the benefit of its appreciable rebound. ! The tread was created to limit weight, the studs are spaced and not very pronounced.
The design of the crampons and their position on the tread allow better cleaning on wet ground, than with closely spaced crampons. The external crampons are drilled on their outer part, the central crampons on their upper part to remove any superfluous material. The outer studs are larger on the rear tire than on the front tire for more grip.
The wide carcass provides great stability, the soft rubber that makes up the crampons provides appreciable grip ! The sidewalls of the front tire have been lightened to reduce overall weight.
